QUESTIONS FROM MEMBERS:
@Samihain asked What is your favorite color?
Blue, in all its beautiful shades!
@Juliju asked What is the next set you have planned?
I've got three coming up sometime this year and the next: a new work by my favorite photographer @babu, a burlesque-themed set by @thimeow, and a multi with @bluekah shot by @arthemis

@Adam_Bovary asked Would you rather run naked on an empty beach or through a meadow of wildflowers?
An empty beach for sure, especially if I can run straight to the sea!
@Bo asked Who is your favorite model on the site and why?
I have so many it's hard to choose, but I really love @badabigail and how delicate and fierce all her sets are! She's for sure my biggest SG crush!
~
@Kingofcool asked If a film was made about you and you could play yourself, who would you like to play your leading man?
Michael B Jordan. He can lead my life anywhere he wants, thank you very much.
@Mcnicks77 asked If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
My godmother. She passed away two years ago, and I miss her terribly. I'd give anything to be able to have one more dinner with her.
~
@Lioncourt asked On vacation, are you the relax-by-the-pool type or a get-up-and-go adventurer?
I'm a little bit of both and it really depends on the destination. I'm much of an urban type of traveler, so I enjoy walking around the cities, going to museums, parks... but I love taking some time to just chill and enjoy my free time.
@Mjc1225 asked What or who inspired you to join the SG community?
I've always heard about SG and didn't think it was for me because of my body type. @babu was the first plus size SG I met and seeing her just inspired me so much to join. It changed my view of this community, and of myself, completely.
~
@Morea asked Which country do you want to visit for your next vacation?
Republica Dominicana! I've been planning that trip for quite some time and hope to make it next year!
~
@Rapunzeel asked What do you like the most and the least about your work as a model?
I love the way I can get creative and find different ways of expressing myself with my body. I really love trying to bring a fresh look to everything I do. What I like the least is probably the disrespect many people still have towards it. I try not to pay much attention to it, but it's tiring.
@Babu asked
What’s your favorite drink?
Non-alcoholic is guaraná, but I'm a sucker for mojitos. I can drink gallons of it.
~
@Marianajade asked Do you have any plans for cosplay this year or next?
So many I wish I had time to do! I want to make a Supernatural inspired set and my cosplay dream is She-ra. One can only hope!
~
@Clarafoot asked What is your favorite movie?
Titanic. It's quite the cliche, but it was the first movie I ever watched on the big screen and it never fails to get me awed.
~
@Fritzlepunk asked What has been the most awkward situation for you?
I'm not one to get awkward or embarrassed very easily, but I think the first time I was ever photographed by anyone was the weirdest! I was so used to just taking selfies, and getting directions felt so weird. I was super self conscious and I felt quite frustrated at the result later on because I felt like I could've done so much more. Nowadays I'd rather be photographed than take photos of myself any day!
QUESTIONS FROM SUICIDEGIRLS:
How were you first introduced to SuicideGirls?
A friend in college was a hopeful and she introduced me to Babu who later would become my recruiter. I fell instantly in love with the aura around SG and I knew I wanted to be a part of it!
~
Where do you find inspiration?
In all forms of art and, mainly, in other models. I love following the SG Curves instagram because seeing other curvy models helps me so much to keep pushing it with my own work. Every SuicideGirl and Hopeful is an inspiration to me.
What impact has your culture / identity had on your modeling journey?
Being curvy and Latina has always been a combo trademark for me. I'm not the body type most people expect to see when they think of Brazilian girls, but that kind of defiance is also what brought me to modeling and to SG as a whole. I learned to see beauty beyond social expectations of what beauty is supposed to be, and the diversity of bodies, colors, styles, and cultures is what makes each person so uniquely perfect.
~
What is your favorite form of self expression?
Can I pick two? Dancing and writing! On writing, I feel the most comfortable with expressing my feelings. When dancing, I am at my best expressing my body and my external self.
What is your favorite form of self-care OR what is your self-care routine?
I love taking myself on dates. I think that's the best self-care I can provide. I'll take myself to see a movie on my own, cook myself a nice meal, travel alone. I love enjoying my own company.
What part of your beauty routine makes you feel most confident?
I love make-up! Learning how to do new looks and trying on different colors and products to enhance my natural beauty always makes me feel like a superwoman!
What impact has SG had in discovering yourself as a person and a model?
SG has changed completely my point of view on modeling and through it I met so many amazing human beings! I'm always amazed by the power of this community. Not only I grew as a model, but I also had the opportunity to talk to so many people about lifestyle, traveling, pop culture, mental health... It's such an open and loving community! I learned to be more daring and try out new things because of it. I'm really glad I found a place here!
Share a memorable experience from your point of view as an alternative model in your ______ community
On my very first shoot, I went to a house where many other SGs and photographers were working. I was terrified. I had been modeling for less than a year and I was so scared of how I would be welcomed or how the photoshoot was gonna go. Babu and Dangerlips were the first to welcome me, and the first to talk me into calming down and opening up for a chat. After just a few minutes, I was already so relaxed. There's this welcoming atmosphere on every shootfest in the Brazilian SG community; everyone's always so chatty and chill. It's not a work place, it's a friends' gathering where people also take time to take photos and have fun.
Is there anything else you want to share about your ____ community?
I just love being a part of the Brazilian / Latin America community. I cheer loudly every time we get pinked or front page. We truly incentavize and help each other; boosting comments, sharing links, offering support. I'll be forever thankful to Babu for bringing me in! This ride has been super special to me! -- @thelara_lee
