@Amelieweed asked
Do you have a model(s) from the site that you communicate with in real life?
If you vary, in fact I have made very nice friends thanks to this site. Bluedette is my oldest friend in the community. We have known each other since approx 2015. There is also Celleste and Kittenblue among several other girls that I have met in real life.
QUESTIONS FROM SUICIDEGIRLS:
How were you first introduced to SuicideGirls?
In 2013 on the internet, I was searching for how to be an alternative model because I always liked that world, and when googling the first thing that came to me was the SG site. I investigated more and I loved the concept it had so I waited awhile and in 2015, I applied.
Where do you find inspiration?
Mainly in other models that I admire a lot. Sometimes in concepts that I want to represent and that cause me some feeling or sensation.
What impact has your culture / identity had on your modeling journey?
At the beginning, it was difficult because of the issue of nudity, and what they will say. Clearly there were many taboos at that time. Well, today the same but much less than before, but I must be thankful that I had a lot of support from my friends and some people of my family. At least it has helped me to know myself more, express myself better, and lose the modesty to show myself and be able to express art with the body.

What is your favorite form of self expression?
Definitely photography. If I see something that inspires me; be it anime, art, culture, or nature, I like being able to express myself in my portraits. It has been a nice space to let my emotions go and express them.
What is your favorite form of self-care OR what is your self-care routine?
Pamper myself when I can. That includes from time to time treating myself to going out to eat, giving myself days of relaxation, taking care of my skin and my mind, surrounding myself with people who fill me with energy, and also having my moments alone for self-reflection, among other things.
~
What part of your beauty routine makes you feel most confident?
I think that I have become very fond of skincare; and that the skin looks beautiful, clean, and radian. And with regard to the makeup process, I believe that it is an art. The whole process of creating makeup that goes accordingly the way I feel in this moment and want to see myself; achieving that result makes me feel very confident.
What impact has SG had in discovering yourself as a person and a model?
Quite a lot. SG was my beginning as a model. Here I grew up, developed, and learned and that opened many doors to people and things that I do today related to this world.

Share a memorable experience from your point of view as an alternative model in your ______ community
More than anything, I think it is: the space to meet the girls of the community, to be able to share with them and meet them live and direct, and to generate a space of trust and friendship; to be able to share our experiences and get to know each beyond modeling.
Is there anything else you want to share about your ____ community?
I like that there is a kind of community in each country. It would be great to have more instances to share and get to know each other better. -- @katablue
