QUESTIONS FROM MEMBERS:
@Crharrison asked Do you play music when you do a set? If so, what’s your playlist?
To shoot all of my photosets so far I needed to travel to the venue, having little time to get everything ready. So most of the time I get so focused on all details involved that when I notice I’m already shooting with no special playlist. In Kickstart My Heart (it was removed from MR recently) it was a bit different, though. I had time to put on a rock n roll playlist, the venue had a good sound system, it was shot with my bass guitar… so there was a lot of Motley Crue, Aerosmith and Eric Clapton to get me in the mood!! <3
@Adam_Bovary said You have $100,000 (US) to buy one thing. What is it?
A Harley -Davidson motorcycle. I've been a huge fan of HD bike design since I was a teenager, although I don’t have a license to drive one yet haha. The change $ I’d spend traveling on my bike!
~
@Doctorp said In your last set, you explain the Scandinavian idea of hygge. What things make you feel cozy?
These are things that put me in this state of mind: Staying at home, hot drinks, fluffy textures, natural light, music, indoor plants, cool weather, candle lights, wine, cuddles and the feeling of being understood (around family or friends). Also the idea of a fireplace - but I live in Brazil haha

@JJ221016 and @Nerestorm said You often tell us about your amazing trips around the world in your blog and your livestreams. If you could choose one place in the world to shoot a dream SG set, where would it be? // What is your dream SG set?
In a French old castle, contrasting with a very contemporary outfit and photographic style. In a vineyard during sunset. Or even in an abandoned venue - I have a thing about this aesthetic and can imagine beautiful shots in this kind of place!
@Kingofcool said You are a massive football fan. Who is your favourite player and why?
My favorite one that's still playing is defo Lionel Messi. He's 35 and keeps being brilliant, creative, making decisions quickly and effectively. A decisive player. 1000 games, 1122 goal involvements and counting!! Genius!
@Rikimaru02 asked If you could meet one person (dead or alive), who would you want to meet and why?
Paul McCartney! I'm a huge fan, and he also inspired so many great artists that I admire!! I'd also love to know a bit of his "behind the scenes" life, about his farm in Sussex, how Grandpa Paul is... haha I've heard he brews his own beer and started growing hemp! It'd be a nice talk!
~
@Dano3755 asked If you had one do over in life what would it be and why? What would you do differently on the do-over?
I'd go back to 2007 and take my psychotherapy more seriously. I started again in 2018 and it's been so important not just to my mental health but also to my growth as a person, understanding my place in the world.
So I'd make it different back then when I had the opportunity (I quit after ~6 months). It would definitely have helped me to make wiser decisions and go further. It's never too late, but I feel like I have chosen the longest path to reach where I'm now.
~
@Burden_In_My_Hand asked If [you were given a] ticket to see The Who in concert, what song are you most hoping that they will play?
It’s hard to choose just one song… I’d say Baba O’Riley because I love the climax and the violin part. If we were time-travelers, watching the original formation, I’d be definitely A Quick One While He’s Away!! Epic!
@Fluffrowe said You decide you want a new tattoo and have no budget restrictions..., what would you have done and where?
A traditional style tattoo covering all my back, very colorful, with all those classical characters!! A big ship, pin up girls, mermaids, swallows and flowers…
~
@Katdaddy asked Can you describe your perfect day / night?
Wake up early on a beautiful sunny day, slowly taste breakfast outdoors and spend the morning on a quiet beach or by the pool. Eat lunch late with a beautiful view and in good company. Take a little nap, then go out for a walk or ride a bike enjoying nature, check out some artsy nerd stuff (street art, a museum, an exhibition). Start the evening at a theater or a gig, have some laughs and drinks in a pub and end it with snuggles on a comfy bed!
~
@Morea asked When and why did you start modeling?
I shot my first photoset back in 2017. I was going through a tough moment in my life, that reflected in low self-esteem too. My partner then gifted me with this boudoir set, he said I should see myself through someone else's eyes, to believe him I was beautiful (the way he saw me and not the way my mind was telling me). It was a very positive experience, I had a lot of fun - and it was the first time I realized I felt comfortable being naked around people haha Well I kept shooting one boudoir set every year until late 2019. During the pandemic I decided I'd like to shoot an explicit set next… I subscribed to SG, and shot my first one when the pandemic had a little break!
@Narublu asked What's your favorite set and why?
British Invasion is special because it's really SO me - the t-shirt band, diving into my records, my portable turntable, also that innocence look but not that much haha. On the other hand I think I've grown a lot since then. That way I'll choose the one coming up in a few months. I was more confident about my body, about myself, it was outdoors (as an exhibitionist I was eager to do something like this)... All of that has its weight while posing. It's also SO me, but as marking the start of a new cycle, I guess.
@Littlejohn22 asked If you could have a meal with three people (dead or alive) who would they be and why? What meal would it be as well?
I'd meet for a breakfast (I'll describe it later):
1. The greatest Brazilian writer ever, Machado de Assis. He was born during the Empire of Brazil, grandson of freed slaves (slavery was fully abolished 49 years later). After his fame he was described as a white man, even his pictures were modified… I still can't believe that I was fooled by this during school!! This discussion gained ground recently, I've always been a big fan so it all makes him even more brilliant, looking back at that context!
2. Lygia Clark, a Brazilian artist from my home state, who called herself a non-artist. Her work is so interesting and also hard to label, although it's still very contemporary. I'd like to learn things from her!
3. Finally a very personal one. My grandpa who passed away when I was 4yo, all my memories of him were built through the ones around me… I'd love to have had the chance to meet him!
~
@Cheshire_ asked What would be your favorite meal?
I love breakfast! So I'll describe my fav hotel all-you-can-eat breakfast haha I'd include fresh fruits, homemade yogurt adding honey and/or granola. Brazilian cheese bread in waffle shape, topped with guava jam. Hot black coffee and cornmeal cake
~
@Juliaxcherries asked How did you feel the moment you turned pink?
I was having an awful day at work, and had some extra job to do at home. That evening, after a meltdown, I took a break, opened my email and it was there: "album purchased as Set Of The Day". I couldn't believe it and needed to ask someone else to read it (literally) and confirm that I understood it right, haha! It was like going from hell to heaven in a few minutes. Then I was happy but also really incredulous - when I finally realized that it was really true I messaged some supporters to share my joy!! @NADSCHUST was the very first one. It was an unforgettable day!
~
@MJC1225 asked What does the SuicideGirls community mean to you?
For me SG was always about empowerment and being comfortable being yourself, no matter how unconventional you are.
@Juliju asked What are your roots?
Both sides of my family are a complete blend, and I like it! My ancestors are a mix of Portuguese, Spanish, West African, and South American Indigenous Peoples... a brief early history of Brazil, I guess.
~
@Inkedodie asked What is your guilty pleasure?
1. Low quality chocolate: football (soccer ball) or umbrella shape haha. Some days beg for an unhealthy and specially-fat sweet, you know.
2. A 2nd cup of coffee. I believe that *today* it won't make me feel sick. (It does most of the time, but I love coffee)
3. Singing out loud and dancing while driving. Awesome until I stop at the red light.
@Gabbymoon asked What is a place you dream to visit?
If I need to choose just one: Egypt! Since I was a kid, I've been fascinated by Ancient Egyptian history.
~
@Spectral_Line asked Why Cruzeiro EC? It's a good tale..., but can you tell it again?
I'll try to make a long story short haha All of my relatives used to support the biggest rival of Cruzeiro EC, which is Atlético Mineiro (except my dad who used to keep it as a secret, because football in Brazil is serious business! haha he supports a team from a different state).
One day my aunt, who is also my godmother, was watching the legendary football player Tostão, in Cruzeiro. Her husband then asked what was that and turned the TV off immediately, and she said that she liked to watch him playing, because he was brilliant. That day she was forbidden to watch Cruzeiro, but since then she decided to support the club as revenge. Among my relatives she's one of the most passionate about football, I love this badass story and during the late 90's and early 00's the team was having a great performance… so I couldn't support a different team!
~
@Vithen asked What are your goals regarding your modeling career?
It'd be awesome to shoot for a lingerie brand committed to diversity and the alternative scene! I also absolutely love the fetish aesthetic, like in Torture Garden events. So it would be a dream to perform or to appear in one of the campaigns of this kind of event (aligned to sex/body positivity). I'm a nonconformist to the core
@Cinderpage asked What is your favorite thing about the SG community?
The empowerment and [ability to be] comfortable being yourself are definitely what I enjoy the most about the website and the community. At many moments and many places in my life I felt like a stranger, here I feel like belonging.
@Brubs asked Do you want to do a cosplay set? Or maybe a multi?
Honestly, I'm afraid cosplay isn't my cup of tea… I'd consider a Spice Girls set, though! Haha. Oh, I'd love to shoot a multi. It's gonna be on my 2023 wishlist!
~
@Samihain asked What's your favorite animal?
Cats! Big cats, small cats, all of them. I couldn't choose just one!
~
@Romous117 asked What would be your dream job if you weren't a model?
Related to my qualifications, both very fanciful dream job ones haha. As an architect, to work at an office focused on social architecture, having people at heart of the design project. Impact people's lives in a creative and positive way! As a furniture designer, to have my own small brand. Mainly woodwork stuff, and also some artsy limited edition - both with a Brazilian vibe! <3
~
@Cripplethreat asked Do you prefer cake or pie?
Lemon pie is my fav dessert ever!! But, when it comes to cake, there's a wide range of flavors I enjoy... So I'd pick cake for the diversity (for my taste).
~
@Bo asked What is your secret talent?
Organizing (I'm not sure if I can call it a talent tho!). I'm kinda addicted to tidying up my spaces, I suppose I have a secret little Marie Kondo inside me
~
@Rhiangt asked What are your top three positive dominant traits?
1. I'm definitely a curious/open-minded person. Always eager to try, test, and learn new things!
2. Hardworking; when I'm committed to something I won't think twice about putting all my energy on it!
3. Kind; although I have some moments of social awkwardness (introversion), I'm very easy-going and empathetic. It's pretty hard to make me feel angry.
QUESTIONS FROM SUICIDEGIRLS:
How were you first introduced to SuicideGirls?
I can't remember exactly when I was first introduced to SG, I had always been into the alternative scene. But I do remember the first time I looked it with a different eye! It was around 2016, and I saw an article in the news about @jeh with a short interview with her... and I was like "Wow! I'd love to be such a badass!"
Where do you find inspiration?
I use visual arts, (old) movies and fashion as references to express myself in an aesthetic way! Also nature and music inspire me and help me to reconnect with my true self.
What impact has your culture / identity had on your modeling journey?
People from the region I was born and raised are very brave and hard working. I can see it in my journey... I had a few reasons to give up, but here am I. We're also known for being friendly people, and it's definitely part of me. Even though I'm an introvert, I'm very easy-going and welcoming! Oh, I've always been an inquisitive rebel. Even when modeling, I won't go with the flow.
What is your favorite form of self-care OR what is your self-care routine?
I'm attending psychoanalytic therapy for about 5 years now, and it's an essential part of my self-care routine. It helps me with self knowledge, how to deal with my emotions/brain and makes me grow as a human being. The first one is key, but this is my favourite: To eat healthy and slowly. Specially breakfast, to start the day in a good way (and mood)! I love to eat pleasantly... and sometimes it could be annoying for some people. I also do my best to keep my body moving - walking, dancing, doing gym or yoga. To keep body and mind aligned.
~
What part of your beauty routine makes you feel most confident?
My skin care routine in the morning - a special soap, vitamin c serum, and sunscreen. Then I'm ready for anything!
What impact has SG had in discovering yourself as a person and a model?
It helped me to feel more confident about my body and who I am - as a person. It's great to be surrounded by like-minded people and be uniquely myself. To happily embrace my "strange" or "weird" side. -- @lioncourt
