My complete name is "Yahaira," but everybody calls me "Yaha" and I like it. Now, Shikary is because I used to listen [to] a band called Enter Shikari, and the word shikari is a Hindi language that means hunter. I've chosen the name long time ago for social medias.

I have a set dream for different reasons. First, the place would be one of the seven wonderful of the world - "Machu Picchu". Talking about the photographer; here in my country, Perú, we don't have any SG team photographers. I have had the pleasure of working with @fay; she's from Chile. My dream set now would be by @writeboy @penny or @fromlimbo, choosing a beautiful sexy inka wardrobe.

I have 2 favorite tattoos on my body, and both are made by one of my best friends. One is my aries sing in my scapula and the other one is my SG tattoo on my right leg because both talk a lot about me [without] saying anything.

My next tattoo could be on one of legs. I'm planing to have more tattoos on my legs; like fairies, angels and demons, because real life it's like this. We live among the good, the bad, the delusions...

I'm from Lima - Peru, and unfortunately I have not the privilege. I'd love to go and as I said before, it's a dream place [for] SG set too. I plan to save money with some friends and travel there. I'm sure is an amazing and [mystical] place to visit.

I love rollerblading. I used to do some weekends with my boyfriend while he's driving bike. I also play volleyball since I was 6 years old - I'm really good at it :)

My mom's family is from Ica-Perú and Colombia. My dad's family is from Cuzco - Perú. Those are my roots. From mom, I get curly hair and this bronze skin; mom is black and dad not, he's kind of red skin with green eyes. I think I'm a bronze latin girl.

Music is very wide; I used to say music is infinite. I can't choose just one, but I can tell you my favorites singers and bands:

My natural hair is curly. When I was 17, I dyed some parts of my curly hair in pink then in green then when I become an adult I started to straightening my hair till I get tired. Now I have all my hair in braids do it by me :)
QUESTIONS FROM SUICIDEGIRLS:
Where do you find inspiration?
On many places I find on Internet, one of them is playboy. I heard that name since I was a child. When I was an adult I discovered suicidegirls; hot girls with tattoos. I said, "omg this is perfect for me."

What impact has your culture / identity had on your modeling journey?
It's variable. In my country, still exists the chauvinism and some people think that because you show your body on Internet you're bad. Of course there are people who celebrate it too. I've had some television interviews about suicidegirls, also in newspapers.
What is your favorite form of self expression?
My favorite form of self expression is with a gaze. A gaze can say everything; in a video, in a pic, in real life... I love to wink my eye.

What is your favorite form of self-care OR what is your self-care routine?
Well, I like to take care of myself avoiding too much fast food but it does not mean that I don't [eat] that. I try to be in constant movement. I also like skating and I usually go for a walk at night or in the morning.

What part of your beauty routine makes you feel most confident?
I have no confidence issues. I could say that taking care of my skin and exercising is something that keeps me confident.
Share a memorable experience from your point of view as an alternative model in your ______ community
I've been modeling in front of a camera an average of 7 years and I remember once being in a jacuzzi taking photos until I slipped but I didn't hurt myself and it was funny. At the end, the photographer and I celebrated with a wine. The photographer is my friend. -- @yaha_shikary
