QUESTIONS FROM MEMBERS:

@Weedix asked What was your best moment since you joined the SG community?

That would have to be when my debut set for SG came out all the lovely comments really made my day/week/month/year! I originally joined SG as a member back in 2010 as Lusciousdead with the dreams of one day being a SuicideGirl like my OG idols Erica Fett, Katherine, Riae, but I kept chickening out with excuses like "I don’t have enough tattoos" or "I’m too overweight to make it" like many others I would assume, but in 2020 I thought lets start a new account just as a hopeful so there was no backing out. So my debut set and lovely comments proving I'm where I am meant to be with 2 more sets in the cue fingers crossed they are loved just as much if not more.

@Chesire_ asked What is your favorite tattoo & story behind it?

Favorite Tattoo that’s so hard to choose, but I do love a good laugh so that being said I will have to say it's my Bag of Dicks. It was so funny right from the start when I mentioned it to my tattoo artist; definitely a good laugh made better by someone copying it in a back yard job. I put it into a meme about not doing meth.

@Gabrieli asked Do you regret any tattoos?

I think lots of people probably regret tattoos, but I do happen to hate my back it was a disaster. The original tattooist didn’t follow my spine, which led to it all being off center. That aside, its just not my style anymore. [I] was young; hadn’t settled into my tastes yet.

@Ollix asked What is your dream trip?

I've only been out of Australia once so I would have to say its my current [plans] to go to Europe; Latvia to be precise with other places also, but this is where my husbands family are from so I'm looking forward to exploring where his Oma grew up. I don’t know what my heritage is so figured I may as well immerse myself in his.

@Kingofcool asked Which 3 things would you which to have with you if you were to be stranded on a desert island?

Oh my I would surely die, just saying. I have zero skills on survival so I would have to say.

  1. 1) Water. I am always thirsty (but not always for water, haha. Sorry I couldn’t help myself)

  2. 2) A friend or enemy, haha. I don’t do well on my won so I'll take either.

  3. 3) A NEVERending packet of tim tams. I saw it on an ad once, but makes perfect sense to me really haha.

  4. ~

@Kremo1 asked What goes into picking your character when you cosplay?

I love to be different to be honest, so if it seems like "the normal" for a cosplay I'm probably not interested. But it does lead to people not knowing who you are though, even if you nail it haha!

@1956firebird said You don’t look like a zombie, but can you do The Walking Dead walk?

OMG, YES! I [can] actually. I've had lots of practice in Adelaide. We used to have a fundraiser for food bank, which was the zombie walk. It went on for soooo many years and was so much fun, but unfortunately covid ruined that one.

@Ayaska said Tell us more about your chosen name.

I love all things cute and dead, haha. I was lusciousdead before this one, so it definitely seems to be a theme of cute & dead.

@Adam_Bovary asked Do you believe the saying, "Beer before wine and you'll feel fine. Wine before beer and you'll feel queer." -- Thoughts?

Well, as a stoner we too have a saying similar... Beer before Bong, that’s just wrong .Bong before Beer, you're in the clear

They [definitely] have merit to an inexperienced [person], but if you're seasoned - go for gold!

FROM SUICIDEGIRLS:

How were you first introduced to SuicideGirls?
At a younger age, I got my first taste of SG (think of fruit loops, but make it sexy). It is where I found an alternative community full of people's weird and wonderful art, and I was hooked.
~
Where do you find inspiration?
Like a ripple in a pond, inspiration is always around. You just [have] to see it through the right set of lenses. Instagram, pets, family, and SG are what I use when my creativity is in need of refueling.

What impact has your culture / identity had on your modeling journey?
I identify as a heavily tattooed woman. Discrimination comes from all types of people and has many forms. I have learned to use my struggles with discrimination as fuel during my journey. At times, it can impact my self-esteem but everybody is fighting a battle that we don't know about.
~
What is your favorite form of self expression?
Getting sweaty at the gym and yelling profanities at inanimate objects.

What is your favorite form of self-care OR what is your self-care routine?
My day job is where I find my own self care. In taking care of my body and using my industry experience and knowledge, I have had the privilege to work with people who have disabilities. Having a skill that you can use to help people that also benefits you is such an honor.
~
What part of your beauty routine makes you feel most confident?
Skin care. If my skin is flawless, there is no realm I can't conquer. Beauty is at its best when it comes with little to no effort.
~
What impact has SG had in discovering yourself as a person and a model?
SG has honestly been my motivation for becoming a model since it was founded. It helped me feel comfortable in my own skin, regardless of how I choose to paint it. As a person, it has inspired me to interact with the community and grow myself to be bigger and push myself outside of my comfort zone.

Share a memorable experience from your point of view as an alternative model in your ______ community
Working with Tristan Manas was on my bucket list of people to work with. (Covid made sure that process was dragged out longer than it needed to be) Nonetheless, was a memorable experience. He has fantastic world views, beyond helpful and a wealth of knowledge on a range of topics relevant to my style that helped me to develop myself.
~
Is there anything else you want to share about your ____ community?
This community is exactly that: a community full of meaningful interactions and unique points of view to be apart of something so big and yet feel so accepted is magical. -- @v0od0o_cutie
