@Ruivinha asked How did you meet SuicideGirls, and what motivated you to become one?

One day my best friend said to me “You totally look like a Suicide Girl!” and I was like “What’s this? 👀” lol he explained it to me and I was super excited so I did a self shot set to try and enter the site, but it was awful 😝 hahahaha really! So, I started following the medias of SG and I really created a huge admiration and respect for the community. I think the slogan was what made me fall in love instantly: “what people say makes us weird, we think makes us beautiful”

@Gabbymoon asked What advice do you have for someone that is starting?

Study a lot about posing and don’t do it all at once. Working with your image is also a tricky thing and it can bring you down mentally if you’re not prepared and able to understand everything that comes in the package. Be patient with yourself and never compare your journey to others.

@Adam_Bovary asked If you could be inserted into an anime cartoon, which would it be and why?

That’s a great question and for SURE it’s InuYasha. Just because I’m totally obsessed with the period the story is set. Feudal Japan is terrific 🥰

@Kingofcool asked What super power would you choose if you could and why?

For sure it would be to fly cause I lack any motor skills to drive lol I can’t even ride a bike! It would be amazing to fly

@Mily asked How many countries have you travelled to & what would be your next destinations if possible?

I’ve never been out of Brazil unfortunately 🥲 my dream destination is Japan, but hopefully my next is LA to meet up with the cuties and shoot lots of sets 😍

How were you first introduced to SuicideGirls?
Someone told me I looked a lot like the models from the site and that I would totally fit hehe So I decided to try! I met the site in 2015, but my first set went into MR only in 2017.

Where do you find inspiration?
I usually study a lot of poses from illustrations and different models, my favorite one is a girl called Stefania Ferrario cause she has the same hips as me!

What impact has your culture / identity had on your modeling journey?
Well, the same year I applied to Suicide Girls (2017) was the year I got institutionalized for 2 months. I had real serious mental health problems at the time, being the most dangerous one a true and gigantic hate for myself. I'm still struggling with my self esteem (I think we all do), but creating Julha was a beautiful journey that taught me so so much about how we perceive ourselves, so now I learned how to be kinder to myself.

What is your favorite form of self expression?
Facial expressions for sure! They never lie hehe

What is your favorite form of self-care OR what is your self-care routine?
I think the only thing I do as self-care is smoking some weed to calm down when I'm feeling specially anxious. And I do facial exfoliation everyday!

What part of your beauty routine makes you feel most confident?
I love to listen to songs on the shower, so I think the part of my routine that makes me feel most confident is for sure when I'm dancing in the shower or in videos haha Dancing is a big part of the Brazilian culture, specially twerking lol

What impact has SG had in discovering yourself as a person and a model?
A huge one! I was still understanding how to deal with my body and what I really expected from it. Looking at different models from all around the world and having the chance of getting to know different Brazilian girls I probably would never have the chance to meet was inspiring. I for sure would not be the same person I am today without SG. I learned a lot about dealing with our image and separating it from our personality.

Share a memorable experience from your point of view as an alternative model in your ______ community
Well, I don't have lots of good experiences with "coming out" as an alternative model or sex worker here in Brazil. The only place we only feel welcome is inside the community, cause most of the time there's just people asking you details of how does it work and stuff that I personaly don't always feel comfortable sharing. When I first started it was super hard to see how judgmental people can be, but now I developed a kind of pride because I'm the only one who really knows how much this work has helped me grow. -- @Julha
