I had a lovely surprise in the post today: Bobr Games liked my 2020 SEUCK Competition entry so much they’ve given it a full physical release on ROM cartridge, complete with map, ID card, manual, and stunning original art by Simon Butler. Sadly, I don’t have an actual C64 myself so I can’t appreciate the work they’ve done on the cartridge first hand, but it’s a minor piece of art: clear acrylic case with inner workings visible, art and graphics, and beautiful retro-style LED effects (which can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YlxWxbydXA&feature=youtu.be). At least I can now boast one success of an extremely quiet year, achievement-wise.
