South Wales has more than its share of decayed Industrial Revolution monuments, yet sadly few of them are accessible or discreet enough for nakey photography ... Thankfully, Aberthaw Lime works, quietly situated in a nature reserve near Cardiff Airport, is an exception.
This shoot was quite unplanned, as the day was initially just going to be a relaxed TF shoot until the photographer (In The Shadows of Adultfolio) mentioned he was open to trying SG stuff, and I never say no to that ... Thankfully, the weather and lighting were both on our side and the location worked really well, with just a couple of dog walkers and ramblers making me very grateful I had brought that towel along for emergency wrapping-up.
Great to have another set accepted at last, and one I was very happy with the result of, especially considering how completely spontaneous it all was. Goddess only knows how it will actually be received here, and the usual four months' wait will be as trying as ever, but I certainly think I will be working with the photographer again, at any rate.
