***This is my first ever attempt at a self-shot set, due to Covid-19 cancelling all shoots. Needing to feel productive, I dressed up the living room in Victoriana, and picked a theme I've been contemplating for ages.*** England, 1843: Ada Lovelace, daughter of Lord Byron, was devising the world's first ever programming language (no doubt in the furtive hope that one day it could be used to create a digital art gallery of creative indecency), when she was stumped by a particularly nasty polynomial. Giving up for the moment, she decides she needs to wind down.
SuicideGirls… became famous for embracing beauty in every shape and form — meaning bodies covered in tattoos, having bright-colored hair, and being outside of traditional beauty norms were celebrated. The name comes from the idea that women who commit “social suicide” by being different come together.
