I found one of these in my house the other night.
That is a photo off the internet, but this is the actual spider that was in my house. Not very good pics though.
"Family: Agelenidae, also known as funnel web weavers
Range: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, southern British Columbia, parts of Montana, and Utah, and most recently in western Wyoming; indigenous to western Europe
Size: Both sexes have a body length of about 0.47 inch (12 mm) and a leg span of about 1.25 inch (32 mm).
Description: Moderately large, light brown spider with long unmarked legs. They sometimes have a herringbone pattern on dorsal abdomen, but that may be absent.
Medically Significant: In reality, hobos are timid and afraid of humans. They bite when left with no other option. Most hobo bites come from males during the hobos mating season in late summer. Hobo spider bites are not fatal and bite severity varies greatly. At least half of the bites aredry bites (no venom secreted).
Reactions to hobo bites vary from head and muscle aches, to skin necrosis (tissue ulceration and tissue death). Correct identification of the offending spider is important for medical treatment. For example, blood-thinning aspirin might increase the rate at which the venom spreads.
In the past, Brown Recluse spiders (Loxosceles reclusa) were blamed for probable hobo bites; however, the brown recluse does not live in the Northwest!"
I thought it was a brown recluse when I first saw it. but it might as well have been since they have similar bites. Too bad my roommates killed him, but i guess it was for the better. I wouldn't want to get bitten by one of those.
So, my computer is still being weird. I got a new firewall because ZoneAlarm sucks. I have 3 dfferent kinds of spyware finders and I got a new virus protector. Hopefully those will work. Does anyone know what Content.IE5 is? I found a bunch of weird porn on my computer, and other random things, like banners and buttons and logos, and they were all in this folder, but my computer refuses to delete this folder. It will delete all the stuff in the folder, though.
Man, do you ever look at a work for so long that it looks really strange and foriegn? I noticed I had weird in the paragraph above a couple times and I realized how.....weird it was. Meh.

Hey we should be drunk together someday. And then I can play drunk hair salon with someone who knows what they're doing.
My hair scares small children.
