im really enjoying my new job right now. if i have to decorate cakes to be purchased in the store, they let me do whatever i want. learning a lot of new stuff. perfecting my roses and other flowers. slowly getting better at icing cakes, getting less and less crumbs in it. i get really frustrated sometimes because all the other cake decorators work really fast. i know theyve all been doing it for ten or more years, but i dont want to be the slowest of the bunch. i try to work fast, but sometimes it equals sloppy. 
some customers take ordering their cake really really seriously. honestly, its not rocket science. and then if it doesnt come out exactly how they want it, they make a big fuss. well, what can you do. just have to get used to it if youre in the customer service business.
