for any of you that read: wil wheaton's william fucking shatner story

this story reminded me of an experience i had. wheaton talks about how he idolized william shatner then it all went to hell when he finally met him and he was a dick.

i used to love this poet. he would do presentations all over, so i wanted him to do his workshop for my poetry class at school. i emailed him about it and he left a message on my phone. i thought that was soooo awesome. soon after that i saw him at a library doing a workshop. after the workshop i went to talk to him. i told him about how i called him, whatever, but he really didnt remember. he kinda pushed me aside. didnt really seem like he wanted to talk to me. while he talks to an audience he seems such a people friendly guy. that really sucked. so embarassing. damn him.

this week seems so long. switching from having class twice a week to everyday really drags the week out. today was really bullshit. two hours talking about nothing!
