I had a small violent cry on my girlfriend's shoulder this morning, and held myself together very well for the rest of the day, didn't even cry when I had to call and cancel my mental health assessment that was on today (did however rush the conversation so I could stop talking about it).
My whole family was very strong, it's suppose it was a long time coming, but personally I did not expect it, I was very shocked!
He was a very strong willed, independent man and a lovely and supportive grandfather and where ever he is now, I hope he's with my grandma telling her all about their great grand-daughter Lacey.
I'll always remember waking up early to share honey coffee with him in the morning, and sharing his fruit salad with cookie crumbles and ice cream at night.

I'm sorry for you're loss. My grandpa passed away last year, he was a wonderful man and next month is the unveiling of his headstone. I make it through the day knowing that he went peacefully and for him being in my life. Stay strong.
