I love ann. It's saturday night it's raining, no one's calling us back, no money, nothing to do. She just hops on the freeway and drives. And then there's silence and she reminds me so much of our dad. i know if i ask where we're going she'll give me his usual response,"Crazy." Freeway was scary, Ann's windshield wipers barely work and we the lines on the street are blurred by the rain. We wind up at Redondo Beach pier and for a Saturday night the place is dead. The only action is at the fun zone so we go play air hockey on one of the 15 air hockey tables! Heaven! Well not exactly because the air hockey pucks are rubber instead of plastic and it's just not the same. But I am reigning air hockey Champ. I took a picture of ann on a mini dirtbike that you put a quarter in and it goes back and forth. And she took one of me riding a possessed donald duck, someone colored his eyes in red, very scary. Walking on the pier we could hear the muffled music and laughter coming from inside the bars and we both deperately wish we could go inside, cuz that's where all the fun's at. I can't wait 2 more years I need a fake id. We head back and pch has the most fucked up detour ever where those factories are in Long Beach, San Pedro I don't know. On our way back we go to The Harbour House, I don't like it there becasue they have plastic patio furniture seating indoors. We're seated next to this group of 15, loud obnoxious, peppy student body people I went to highschool with and they ruined my meal.

I gotta say, that actually sounds way more fun then my weekend (which I spent in the library)...I like the redondo beach pear. I haven't been there in forever but its cool. You should check out the breakwater when there's a big NW swell...it gets crazy big. My goal is to surf there one day and not die. :::sigh::: back to work...take care!
