Ugh, all of this stuff seems to just come at one time, no?
Who knows about cars? Anyone?
Because...my car is dying. It's like a horse with a bum leg. I could care less about the dents and whatnot now, because now it makes a horrid noise when I drive it and when i stop, it stutters like I have no gas. Not every time, but enough to make me paranoid. AND I need new tires, badly.
I hate my car and I hate that I feel incredibly unsafe driving it.
Would it be a better idea to pay the $3000 (or more, now that there's two more things wrong with it) to fix it up
OR
Sell it for parts or whatevs and then buy a different car? The 'different car' I want is a Volvo. Volvos are safe! Sure I'd have to pay more in gas but honestly I'm not concerned with that at the moment.
I know I will never, ever have $3000 at any given time to fix my car all at once. I can't take out a loan in order to fix it, because I have crappy credit. So my only options are: fix it slowly, piece by piece, or, get a different older, but reliable car.
This is just too much for me to think about on top of everything else. I need help figuring.
Any advice?
Because honestly, my head is going to explode. Life has been ridiculous lately and I just want the year to hurry up and end already!
