This weekend was full of working and naps.
Saturday, I woke up at 3:50 and drove to work to make coffee for the masses. Surprisingly, I wasn't tired at all. But there were a couple crazy customers, including one guy who insisted I put the portafilter that I just puled his shot from back in the machine and pull a 6ounce shot. WTF. He was super rude about too, like I was stupid or something.
I kept telling him, "Starbucks may do that, but we don't. If you want a horrible, bitter, watery cup of espresso, I can do that, but I don't think that's what you want." After which, he said stuff like "Well every other coffeeshop does it that way!" and I asked, "What, makes bad coffee?" And I gave him his nasty cup of espresso and watched him walk away and make a disgusted face after he tasted it. Then I couldn't stop laughing. People...are stupid. Especially when they come into your job and tell you, not ask, to do things.
After thaaaat, I brought my sick sickly some tea and then we went to go sign the rental agreement and put in the deposit for our new apartment. It's so cute! It's an older building, but it's been remodeled. It has built in shelving and lots of windows and it's really light and airy. I'll take pictures next time we go over there at the end of the month.
Then after sitting in insane amounts of traffic, we went to a friend of a friend's to pick up some boxes and other random things he left there. And to avoid the traffic going home, we spent the rest of the day in Santa Monica, wandering around and looking in stores and then saw The Break Up. I liked it, it was cute.
Sunday, I worked and although I got more sleep than before, I was ridiculously tired during work. Dragging all day, I couldn't wake up at all. So I basically came home and napped...forever. And then me and Matthew went to Norm's and had lunch. Then I napped some more. Pretty much till 10pm. Yeah I think I have narcolepsy.
Happy Monday!
P.S. I need living room furniture.
