Right my journal is about to get very fucking boring for you lot as I'm going to start using it as a diet and exercise diary for myself.
Partially because I need to keep a record of what I'm doing (or not) and mainly because I've had real trouble starting again from before Christmas...yes I know but I have given up smoking so shut the fuck up.
Everything is all a bit hectic and stressy at the moment and I know full well if I inject a bit of health I'll deal with it much better and I'm hoping that the humiliation of having it on here will give me a bit of an incentive.
So feel free to feel free to chip in with any encouragement, handy hints, cheesey inspirational quotes or mickey taking as you so desire (before and after pictures always welcome too).
Yesterday - First jog around the block, haven't run on anything but a treadmill for years and it was a bit of a shocker. Very nasty, didn't like it, had to keep walking every bloody 2 minutes.
Ate egg and cress butty from the garage in the morning, then some melon later on and turkey stir fry for tea. Didn't drink enough water and then had pancakes. Not a great start.
Today - Got my ass out of bed this morning and went for another trot around the block in the hope I had become miraculously fit overnight. I haven't but it was easier and with less walking than yesterday. Am going to go again with my flatmate later on. Apparently a jogging buddy makes everything nicer, we shall see. At the moment I'm kind of liking being anti social and having my mp3 player on so I can't hear the sound of my lungs collapsing, plus I will be wheezing and hobbling because I forgot about stretching yesterday and this morning so following a day in high heels my thighs are having a bit of a paddy. I shall bully them into submission.
Breakfast - pink grapefruit juice, big mug of chai tea, pint of water, pack of blueberries. Started taking multibionta and omega 3 again (fish oils soothe me).
Lunch - handful of brazil nuts, no time for lunch today.
3.30 ish - rest of last nights turkey stirfry cold..from a tub..sitting in my car, uggh.
Bout 2 litres of water and am currently drinking a very large, strong coffee (black, no sugar for me please).
Tea is going to be miso soup with veg and noodles I think.
