MTV's My Sweet Sixteen. Need I say more? I will. It makes my head hurt. Literally this show pains me.

Very soon (within a few weeks) I will be done with antibiotics. Then a brief break, for my end of the month vacation, and then taking something for cystic lyme, aka the lyme disease time bomb. It stays asymptomatic in your system until your body is under enough stress, and then *pop* Lyme disease all over again. Yesterday didn't count though, I took a break from the antibiotics because, oh right, I puked up my thursday night dose at 2am friday morning. Ace.

The heat was literally unbearable today. Also, I encountered an extremely large, dead insect in my pool. kubrick5 thought it was a deerfly. I thought it was icky.

Out of triscuits. This = tragedy. I did have a salad for dinner and jammy waffles for breakfast though. And my new favoritist drink. Uh, it was called a honeydew? Midori, pineapple juice and bacardi o, I think? It was really good. But I drank it a wee bit too fast on an empty stomach, so I got buzzed pretty quickly. I shouldn't be drinking, but I did anyway.

I find it interesting how popular middle eastern fiction is right now (Reading Lolita in Tehran, The Kite Runner, etc.) and yet despite how terribly heartwrenching these books apparently are, we're still at war. Funny how that whole pen/sword dichotomy appears to have been fucked up royally.

My brother moved up to boston today, he's starting at emerson come september. It's kind of weird. Especially since he's my younger brother and he's moved out, and I'm still very much moved in. Oh well. I don't have to worry about paying rent.

Middle eastern culture is really damn cool when it comes down to it. I love studying about it.

Also, I know someone who's extremely into the old beat/drug culture who goes to emerson. That kid is a good shit. Perhaps your brother will meet up with him.

I don't have to pay rent because I'm in the same situation as yourself. It's a nice thing, but you have to sacrifice independence i find.

By the way, HELLOO FELLOW RHODE ISLANDER!!!!

Dude! The last time I went and she actually dyed the whole thing (the purple incident that turned out brown), it was over $150. RIDICULOUS, I tell you. But I figured because that was bleaching out strands for highlights and two kinds of color, and she made it sound like it was corrective, even though the other lady who did it made better use of the purples. I just can't afford her services anymore, and I like it better to do it myself. Besides, it is fun to dye your own hair, and fun to trim it in the mirror. It's like a tame adrenaline sport. Will you make the grade, or will you accidentally trim too much because you are looking at yourself in reverse? Ok, well, I find it thrilling at least!
