I have added 2 things to my List of Things Which Make Me Feel Tough in the past 24 hours . . .
1. I took a cd case apart with my bare hands. A factory defect fuse it together or something so I literally had to break it apart. I didn't care much for the cd (chevelle) but it was the principle of the matter really.
2. I punched someone in the face last night.
Fuck yeah.
I went to see Type O Negative with a friend last night and hijinks ensued. I just wished I had been better dressed for the occasion. In other words, not in a skirt and knee high boots holding my purse like a little bitch. In other words an ill-prepared sidekick to say the least.
Yeah the crowd was terrible, we saw at least 10 people get thrown out for fighting and at one point I saw a dude on the ground and like 4-5 others just beating the shit out of him. Not cool people. Eh it's a mid-nineties metal band on Wednesday night. At least it wasn't packed, it would've been much worse if it was. Music was good, the band put on a good show considering they're all old and drug-addled. And Peter Steele still has that fantastic voice.
Also, I'm pretty sure the sound quality at lupos has gotten worse, but the decor sure looks nice. I do miss the cages though.
So yeah next metal show I'm going to I'm bringing a moose with me, it's decided. Who fucks with a moose? No one.
Or I could just get a good pair of boots. Which reminds me . . . I have 2 pairs of Doc Martens, and while I love them, they give me blisters every time I wear them, and I've broken them in. They are, however, patent leather and knee high, and I don't know if that makes a difference or not. Plus they don't feel "heavy" enough for me. I like thick shoes/boots with a decent amount of weight to them. So basically I'm looking for tough black boots that are comfortable as well. Any idea where I could get them?
off to do homework but first . . .
I finally got and listened to the Opheliac cd and I'll be getting the dead is the new alive ep as soon as her laced/unlaced cd is out and anyway Opheliac is fucking amazing and so is Emilie Autumn and everyone should listen to her. The end.
messy watermelon kisses,

Perdita's Peculiar Particular: I have a real problem with not brushing my hair. I think my hair looks good messy and brushing it usually makes it go flat. However this creates a problem when I need to wash my hair (since I don't wash it every day) because it makes it very difficult to get the snarls out even when I have a ton of conditioner in.
p.s. i love how on the sg homepage all you can see from my blog is "I have added 2 things to my List of Things Which Make Me Feel Tough in the past 24 hours . . . 1. I took a cd case apart with my bare hands. " FTW!
p.p.s. two years ago on saturday i became a limbogirl. yay!!

It's always good to see you, sweetie! We should get together more often...
I listened to the samples on her site and now need to listen to full songs.
I've been wearing Docs for years, and have found that I need to get a half-size larger than I would otherwise wear or I get blisters.
Don't know if that would help you or not.
