This is how I've felt lately . . . on a mostly regular basis:
Shit can't be helped, it's just a stressful time of year, helped by things that er, increase the stress I suppose. No I'm not going to talk about it. Pfft.
Although to be fair the only other consistent emotion has been a sort of silly giddinesss. No I'm not going to talk about that either.
I didn't cook dinner tonight but I did some cooking/foodprep for a good hour and it made me feel much better . . . for the record I de-seeded a whole pomegranate, made roasted pecans/almonds with my own (v. delicious) spice blend (I was going to use Old Bay Seasoning but I didn't feel like it), and made a ginormous salad for whenever I feel like salad. (see my previous post for the recipe).
There's food in my house, and generally speaking, that makes me incredibly happy (especially when I can just reach in the fridge and grab a handful of pom seeds). So does watching Heroes, which I remembered to watch tonight . . . ♥ the nihon-go (japanese) like whoa . . . save the cheerleader, save the world. I do have a deep fondness for watching/listening to real Japanese people speak Japanese as opposed to watching anime. Not that I don't love anime.
I heard "When the Stars Go Blue" by Ryan Adams quite randomly in AC Moore on Saturday. Fell in love all over again. Not that it's a terribly difficult thing to do.
Lately all I've wanted are more black sweaters. It's either bright colors, black, or nothing. I ain't got time for the in betweens, in more ways than one. Still no one seems to want to make brightly colored winter clothing the past few years. Bummer.

Perdita's Peculiar Particular: I'm really REALLY addicted to PureVolume lately. It totally fills my craving for radio songs at a moments notice. Plus my boys Monty Are I were the artist of the day yesterday which is pretty awesome.
Don't forget to comment on my rejected set Deliciously Trashy either in my journal, in PhotoJoe's journal, or in the thread here.
