Five songs
-=-"Opheliac" by Emilie Autumn & "Dig Ophelia" by Rasputina. Together for the simple reason of similar themes.
-=-"When You Were Young" by The Killers. Damn if that song didn't grow on me with lightning speed.
-=-"Thru the Eyes of Ruby" by the Smashing Pumpkins. A brilliant piece of music.
-=-"Dublin Waltz" by Monty Are I. Obvs. It never ever gets old.
Four Cravings
-=-chocolate soymilk
-=-sex
-=-a clove cigarette
-=-change
Three Wishes
-=-One last final redeeming chance to make something right/better/other than what it is.
-=-That my car's oil would change itself.
-=-The ability to change my haircolor at will.
Two Needs
-=-Warmer hands
-=-To move on.
One Triumph
-=-Quitting smoking for over a week and still going.
I walked to my car last night, catching my breath at my surroundings. Quiet and still, with the sun's light lingering to tint the sky a gradient of blues, from a deep robin's egg to velvet-y navy studded with stars, complimented by the luminescent half moon. Breathing in the cool air and smiling I felt oddly hopeful for what was to come, after all it was the last day of September. I could finally . . . wake up I guess and move beyond the chaos of transition, the haunting of new and old sadnesses, everything about September that makes it a month to cringe, and be thankful for only thirty days. So here I am this new October hoping for something better, casting off the very last pieces of chaos like bits of ash and getting ready to fly.

its much hotter to have smoked and over came it, then to keep smokin. good luck with it.
Stay strong with the smoking! It was always a social thing for me too, which made it that much harder, in a way, because I wasn't going to stop being social just to avoid the cravings. I still cave sometimes and have a cigarette, but it's less frequent.
