I sometimes have the patience to listen to the "play any track" playlist on my mp3 player, but more often than not I grab it and skip through the shuffle at lightning speed. Random is truly random and sometimes the algorithm (how did I manage to spell that right on the first try?) does not factor (sound+mood) into the equation.
Today was lovely and warm for once. I didn't enjoy the weather as much as I would have liked but I managed to enjoy the day nevertheless. I was especially happy to visit a friend I haven't seen in a while. She's so sweet and wonderful and it felt almost like old times.
I really, really adore street art and am always inspired by The Wooster Collective, but this and this particularly made my day. If you have a livejournal you can add the lj feed to your friendslist for daily street art; it's called woosterfeed. I highly recommend it.
I saw rent on sunday with my mom and it was really wonderful. We also had dinner at a fairly new local asian restaurant with family and that was also nice, for the most part. My food was amazing and delicious, I ordered crispy duck and broccoli and peapods in oyster sauce (and white rice because I love it!). The duck was so good and came with a really light, savory dipping sauce. It wasn't sweet, which is usually the case with duck, but I'm not a big fan of sweet/fruity sauces so this was nice. And it was my first real time eating duck (besides trying it) and it was just so good! Plus plenty of veggies and stuff so I was happy.
I have so much to do tomorrow! I need to get to bed for sure. Right after I make a to-do list. Oh and this is my new hair:
It's very light blond with some golden lowlights and peachy pink bits from the pink that just wouldn't leave. I love making silly faces and I'm dead pleased with how the blond came out.
See? I just cant' help it.

We need to go see rent. Hmmmm. Maybe tomorrow.
I have a ton of playlists on my WindowsMediaPlayer. And even with all my playlists, sometimes shuffle doesn't cut it.
I love the new hair. (and the faces too. )
