So today I started my new job and it was amazing!!! For you to understand my excitement I have to take you to the beginning.
Ever since I was a little girl Ialways worked on cars and I found that my love wasn't with engines (even though I am amazed by them) but with the body. I loved knowing that I can see a car that everyone thinks is a piece of shit and turn it beautiful again. I always looked at cars like if they were my girlfriends. They may have damage, but once you fix them and take your time you can show the world that brightness that shines inside them. Anyway, I was going to school getting my basics while I was on the waiting list for the auto collision and paint program. When I found out that I could start that following term I got the news that I was pregnant with my daughter so sadly I had to give up my spot in the class. While I was on my last month of pregnancy I heard that the course was cut from the school. I thought all hope was lost until my husband said "why don't you turn in some resumes anyway and tell them what happened." So I put in my two weeks notice and started my search for a job in a shop. After what seemed like 100 applications I got a call back. I was so excited for the success that people that were in my predicament had that made it hard to get over getting laid off after two weeks. Feeling like a useless piece of shit I called up one other place and told them that "the other job didn't work out" and got a call two days later asking if I could start in the paint department. Excited I said yes and boom! Started today. I am now learning how to do what I love with people that I can shoot the shit with and not worry about a customer complaint about how I cuss worse than a sailor. Sooooo, yea! Today was an amazing first day and I couldn't be more happy. Thanks for listening my amazing followers :) I love you all!
