Today is independence day here in the US, and that means, fireworks, drinking, and people generally being unsafe. But what really surprised me about the 4th today was work. I have worked at other jobs on the 4th and it was normally slow and boring, but not in the fast food industry. I mean it wasn't as bad as some of the weekends we get, but I was really surprised to see so many people coming to Mcdonalds. The drive through I expected to be kind of busy for people working, but hell, even the dining room was more or less full all day. At least unlike my past jobs, the workday went fast, since it wasn't dead. Have a happy and safe 4th of July for all those celebrating. For those who aren't sorry for the boring post.
