Got back from Vegas today-and only spent about 80 bucks the whole time, including gas!! This is what happens when you have family there. You stay with family and don't go a near a casino, and it's a way better trip than getting drunk and losing your rent money. Way better.

Just got home from the colOmbian place Marcela lives near. I ate way too damned much. And wanted to keep going. I could see the end of that particular rainbow, however, and so I set my fork down. Those brownies really know how to cook when they're not smuggling cocaine in the bellies of children.

I move in a week. I am totally ready to begin the next phase of unemployment, because I've felt like I was in limbo since I decided to move. I need to get on with things.
