I've recently become obsessed with this website; something about peering into people's private lives that's so satisfying. Also, sometimes there's boobies.
Also, as an aside, please know I've not been on SG.com nearly as much as I'd have liked lately. Somehow, my online life is being replaced with a literal one, which is odd, considering exactly who I am. I've just ordered a wireless router & laptop card, which should remedy the situation in two to six business days. I only include this paragraph because one of my pet peeves is out of date time-sensitive journal posts, which I've been guilty of creating more than once in the last two months. So there you are.
I find myself at a baseball game about once every two years on average; apparently it takes that long to forget why I don't like major sports to begin with. The commercialism, the lack of depth, the fact that (except for a few gifted individuals) nobody is really doing anything particularly spectacular. The best part of the whole shenanigan was the haggard single mother of three toddlers sitting behind me, trying to explain baseball to Mikey the two year old, telling him "Oh! He just threw a strike!" and "Oh! Too low! That was a ball!"
Mikey, however, was infinitely more interested in the beach balls aloft above the crowd, and kept shouting "Balls! Balls! Balls!" Naturally, I couldn't help but imagine he was referring to something entirely different, not unlike the parrot in a wife beater's house who only says things like "SQUAWK! Why do you make me do this to you, bitch! SQUAWK!" Just as funny, at any rate.
But I digress. I'm sure Mikey will grow up to be a splendid young man with a healthy fetish for latex-clad asian women.
pensquare's favorite quote of the month:
bocuma: (in reference to the purpose of testicles) "they're like the alt-ctrl-del for the male body. need to get a creep out of your face? kick him in the balls and run while he reboots."
I demand you aquire:
Movie - American Splendor
Music - The Notwist
PC game - Harbinger
Membership - threadless.com
That is all.
