Ok, so the headline in todays newspaper was "Salem couple dance with shotguns." The story goes that a man (early thirties I think) told his wife that he wanted to dance and she told him no. Well he went and got his sawed off shotgun and told her if she didn't dance then he would kill her. She ran for the neighbor's house to call 911. To which he responded to by shooting in her direction. When the police arrived he ran away only to come back and try to sneak into the house while the police were still there.
He was arrested on several charges including illegal possession of prescription drugs. The officers found an unmarked pill bottle with 17 little blue pills in it.
Just another small town Friday night.
