I had the pleasure of 📸 shooting Rise And Shine ✨ with the amazingly sweet 🎀 @dutch in Chicago 🏙️ at a Shootfest I hosted. Let me say it is a total pleasure to work with her. She is so kind and soft spoken and truly a beautiful soul. We shot in the kitchen and they had a little coffee ☕ maker so I wanted it to be a well executed good morning set. I remember painstakingly arranging the coffee cup to follow her through the photoset so the narrative made sense. The things I obsess about in shoots are so funny, but in my head I can just "see" it and it must be just-so-ever perfect or I won't be satisfied as an artist.
I love everything about this set, her styling is so comfy, casual, cute and timeless. Big thanks to 🎀 @sunniejones for assisting with wardrobe and styling on this shootfest. Her demure glances and big smiles bring you on an intimate ride in this set. I love Dutch's vibrant hair and how it pops against the neutral kitchen. And the light ☀️ was delicious, spilling into the big windows I had a great time with Dutch posing in the backlit shots, which if you haven't noticed are always included in my sets.
