Catwoman!
I have always loved Selina Kyle! She is my favorite super hero (also sometimes villain) In my opinion her duality is part of what makes her absolutely amazing. She follows her own moral compass, starting out as a thief/cat burglar, but eventually teaming up with Batman and other heroes down the line and kind of switching back and forth as it suits her needs. I'm all about a woman who knows how to look out for herself and her best interests.
Her character is not technically super powered (depending on which origin story you are going on, but we will go with the comics vs. all the movie re-enactments and shows) Catwoman has incredible gymnastic skills, is fluent with martial arts/combat, and utilizes her whip and clawed gloves to do most of her fighting. She does have an empathetic feline sense, cats will come to her aid, she can train them, and they view her as one of their own. Which is pretty much the best crazy cat lady pipe dream ever. But it is her cunning wit and street smarts that make her extremely dangerous and apt to survive. Plus, she is such a babe! Her on and off again romantic relationship with Batman is fun to watch. She represents a gray area in Batman's otherwise black and white life where the line between good and evil blurs, and his attraction to her stems from this perception that, in her way, she's kind of a female version of himself: another dark, beautiful creature that prowls the night.
Outsmarting, seducing, or surviving she gets away with all her "lives" intact and usually a bunch of really expensive $h!t. ;)
Growing up with Catwoman I admired her for her ability to be feminine, but exude grace and strength. How she got what she wanted and made decisions for herself. She could have turned into Batman's sidekick or counterpart, but her character is so strong she didn't need to rely on Batman and comes to his aid to save him or help him complete his missions more than he comes to assist her. I'm partial to Michelle Pfeiffer's rendition as stylistically it hit a chord with my goth self growing up all that PVC. Yum. But I also grew up on the Batman the animated series version. At any rate she is a sophisticated, yet vengeful woman who is both as beautiful as she is deadly in any version you see her as.
Meow. My favorite!
