my lovely weekend....
so this weekend my roommate and i flew from charlotte to baltimore. from there we needed to get to jersey, but didnt know how that was going to happen. we bought tickets and took the amtrak to philly then a few more trains to my town. we borrowed a car and then drove to new brunswick, nj where my roommates from. from there we went by train into nyc and saw 3 floors of ska. there were a ton of people there but all in all it was fun. there was a fight which was pretty crazy but that was that. i didnt get back home until 4 am that morning.
the next day we drove down to dc for the rally and concert to bring the troops home. we got there late but still got to see a lot. it was awsome to see so many people out there with signs and shit.
now to the shitty part....
we went out to eat, a group of four guys and two girls. my other roommate found a sign he was taking to his finance that was pretty funny. while in the metro station two assholes come up and try and rip it up and then we start to fight. the fight ended up with my roommate getting a broken nose and another buddy of mine getting sucker punched in the eye for trying to break things up. we got some good shots in but they caused more damage by being bitches and sucker punching. not a damn person in the metro did anything. hundreds of people and we were on our own with my buddy bleeding and my other buddy's eye swelling up. the girls were crying and the cops were on their way (supposedly) so we got out of there. so what a fucking weekend. i didnt get to my sisters house from the hospital until 5 am. everyone's fine and now we have a pretty cool story to tell but just a pain in the ass.
