Bitching about the weather!!!!!
Not that my bitching will change anything, just need a little vent.
Basically, it's too freaking hot and it's too freaking humid and I'm freaking miserable.
And yes, I've certainly survived hotter and more humid (humider?) but I moved up to the Seattle/Tacoma/Olympia area because I was tired of being hot and miserable 10 months out of the year when I lived in Los Angeles.
I'm kind of weird I guess, I LIKE cold weather, I LIKE rain and clouds and snow and chilly days out for a hike or curled up in front of a fire with a book (weird and nerdy).
I've lived in places that most people consider to be paradise: Hawaii, Southern California, Athens Greece; but I've always preferred the WINTER time in all of those places (not that Hawaii has a "winter").
So, it's summer time again and I need to buy an AC unit for my apartment because it's just too damn hot and I can't wait for autumn to get here.
