I can't take the back and forth on the house anymore. As some of you know I found the perfect house, finally. And I got my mortgage fairly easy, didn't need a co-borrower or anything.
But now it's just back and forth. And Jason's father is the one negotiating because he's good at that stuff.
The anticipation is killing me. We bid. He said someone else was interested and would let us know. 6 days later he calls and gives a higher offer. We say no, he says then counter offer. We call back tonight and offer to split the difference in our two bids and he says he will have to talk it over with the 93 year old woman that actually owns the house. He's only her nephew.

Everyone has said we will probably get it because we are negotiating and we just need to agree on a price in the range that we are in, but I won't relax until 3 business days after the contract is signed so that it's set in stone.
I can't even sit still at the computer, I'm bouncing around like a little kid.

Maybe he'll call back with some good news for me tomorrow.........
