This weekend was very relaxing overall. I didn't have to go to Ft. Dix to see Jason's dad....not that I didn't want to see him or anything, but I just really, really hate long car rides. I can handle being in a car for 2 maybe 2 1/2 hours tops and then I just go crazy. I think they said the trip was like 7-8 hours one way. Yeah, just not for me. Mike and I really don't talk to each other anyway, so I will just see him next week when he is actually home and for now I will be thankful that he is safely back in the United States!!!

Last night, Jason, his sister, her boyfriend and I hung out and drank and played Life. I know it's kind of dorky, but I have been so into board games lately......anyway, the box says "ages 9 to adult". BULLSHIT!! None of us could figure out how to play for like an hour. And that was with the instructions. Now I haven't played this game in awhile so maybe I am wrong....but I don't remember all the cards and pieces and stuff that's in there now. I needed to put down the alcohol to concentrate.

Now Jason is trying to teach me how to play Risk. He said it was his favorite game when he was a teenager and gave him something to do when he couldn't get girls.... It's so cute for him to share that with me and want to teach me, but I am just not getting the hang of it. It doesn't help that he bought the Lord of the Rings version and not the regular one so he can't even remember all the rules!! I am soooooo confused. If anyone knows how to play this game, teach me so I can beat him!
