New news.
my unit got deployed to Louisiana this past weekend. i flew in a week ahead of everyone else to get things set up to receive us. the good news is that i get out of fayetteville, the bad news is that my party was cancelled and i dont think i have enough energy to plan another one (we only lost 200 bucks on food though so it wasnt a big loss) its been pretty boring so far but it looks like we will be doing alot more stuff in the future. today we started search and rescue operations with FEMA. we were cruising around on boats and driving through the flooded streets to find people. its a good feeling, to help out. i swear if i didnt know i was in america i would think i was in a 3rd world country. on a brighter note there are a bunch of TSA employees helping out down here until the regular folks get back, this group is from tampa and they have some gorgeous girls that ive been trying to score with. i got at least a month to try though. wish me luck!
