Ok so what have I been up to for the past week????

Well you guessed it work and that is about it. My last 24 hours have been interesting....

So I got called into work last night because I was on call and we have been so damn busy. I had a diabetic who's labs were all off and I had to draw blood and do vitals every hour, made for a really long night. I got out late from work because one of my other kid's labs decided to go up (Calcium) and so I had to get STAT labs, lasix and a bolus. I had another baby who has the worst diaper rash I have ever seen in my entire life with no parents. Why parents leave I have no idea....damn young people who have no clue.

So I finally leave work and low and behold there is a kid on the side of the road that was just hit by a car on her bicycle. So I stop and keep her calm, thank goodness the EMS were only a block from where she was hit.

Damn....I am exhausted and need a hug. I think I will settle for bed. At least I have tonight off before I work tomorrow again
