OK SO, here's the situation. I've been so stressed out over the last little bit thinking about the future, something I don't normally care about. Ever since my boyfriend got this contract job, which takes him away from home for months at a time, I've been really considering what is next for us. We just moved in together in July and since then our relationship has really grown stronger. Now he is away working and paying for a house he doesn't live in. So here's what I've been stressing over.. My options..
1. I could find a place to live on my own within the next couple of months while he finishes this contract, he may or may not pay a few dollars towards my rent to store some of his things there. We would have to break up because long distance relationships aren't easy or fair on anyone. Ultimately I'd be back to square one and miserable without him. So.. Not a huge fan of this choice.
2. I could sell everything I own, donate what I can and pack my bags for an adventure, going with him on his contracts. I would have to quit my new job in a couple of months and try my hardest to find small random jobs here and there where ever it is that we go. It was actually his mother who suggested I do this. She said I'm young and care free and I should live it up while I can. My mother said absolutely no way, no how and we ended up arguing about me being an adult and very far away from home. My father said as long as I make good on my previous commitments (ie. paying my school loan he cosigned for), then it's my life and I can do what makes me happy. I haven't talked to too many of my friends yet but from the few I did the general consensus is "do you really want to follow your heart?!" The answer to that is yes. I love this boy more than a lot of things and he makes me truly happy. This option sounds a little magical to me. Travelling, seeing the world, being in love.. I know it will be harder than that but I can dream.
So I suppose my question for you all is, which choice you'd pick for me and why. Also, for those who have traveled around sporadically like this or for those of you who have followed your hearts, is my dream option doable? I know I can pack up my life in a few months and move on to where ever ( I did it when I moved to BC), but the money part, will I be able to make that work?
I'd rather be this:

I feel bad for all the animals you're gonna leave behind. You look like a natural with them.......... It's only three months out of a lifetime. Get your OWN life going. Soon it will be a blip in your life. Relax.
