Ah, you have a conundrum. I don't know what degrees you have, or what your current job is, but if you're having trouble finding a job now I would only think going to graduate school would delay the same thing happening at a later point. It might be a little easier since it comes with more clout; I wouldn't call myself an expert, though.

Have you tried searching through online jobs listings for available positions wherever you're looking to move? I really think those are very tuned towards specific fields though and might not be viable for you.

Dang, I've never had them take away money... but then again I've had jobs like that before where they told me "well if we don't have you come back from lunch we know whats up." LOL

Don't feel bad, I don't either apparently, and I have no real reason to be all paranoid about those things.

Apparently according to a friend of mine I'm spitefull to guys - perhaps that's why they run. Although I don't agree. I just want to be treated like the queen I am - that's not asking too much.

get some good dvds and some good food....its the only way to spend a weekend alone.

beware of running to a new place and hoping for a better life. do what you can to change your situation without having to start over. these people you sort of know--do you have any of their phone numbers? can you call them and say "listen, i was gonna go get a burger, do you have time for a quick lunch?" or something. be proactive.

also, are you in any support groups? either online or in real life? find people in similar (not necessarily the same diagnosis, but that'd be awesome) circumstances to see how other people deal. you seem like a nice kid. maybe make it clear that if anyone wants to ask questions, they can? i know you're comfortable and ok with that, but maybe they are afraid of offending you or whatnot?

in other words, since you are the one who wants things to be different, you need to be the one to make some first moves. ask people if they want to hang out. get "coffee" (i don't drink coffee so that always feels weird to say for me!). the worst thing they could say is "no." and then you ask somebody else!

There is this thing call the computer and the internet. . . let them entertain you. Just think how many times I was at work playing on SG all day because I was bored at work.

I'm not a huge fan of snow. But atleast you got a day off in the middle of the week. I hope you took advantage of it and enjoyed it.

Ive found hobbies can help..because you end up associating with people who have similar interests...and then friendships jcan just naturally "happen"...say, playing an instrument or amateur theatre or joining a homebrew club or a softball team olr whatever..No matter where you live there must be outlets like that.
