I sorta miss college. I don't miss the irrelevant bullshit they try to teach you, I don't miss the drunken stupidity, the lies they tell you about how this is the only class you're going to need, the idea that college is the most important thing in your life, the idiocy of people saying that a 100 level class is hard, the idiocy that people thinking liberal arts is hard. I don't miss the useless things they try to teach you. The irrelevent clubs, activities, and other bullshit they make you believe that will help you. The stupid activites,, irrelevent sporting teams who think they're the world.
What I miss is college women, and hanging out in coffee shops, and eating good food at local restaurants not available in most towns.
I am very mixed about wanting to go back to school. On the one hand it will:
a) deffer my current student loans
b) transfer me to a new city and a new life
c) further well round me.
d) meet new people possible someone to hang with.
It won't however
a) do away with my student debt
b) help my finacially
c) help me get a better job (despite what educators tell you a college degree on it's own, gpa, classes, test scores do not help you get a better job)
It's too late to do next semester, and possibly too late next fall. I know most of my problems could simply be solved by moving to a big city, why this is more important than more useless schooling is so obvious:
a) more jobs (despite what the news says about unemployment rating or what people believe about the current president)
b) more stability
c) more social aspects
d) a better income (despite the fact that the cost of living is higher, there are better, and more jobs in any large city willing to pay better wages than any shit small town)
(2.5 months and counting till I can move out live in a cardboard box the rest of my life)
