Alrighty, so, the way my bird was behaving last night, she almost needs an enitre blog devoted to her. What a nut! She was climbing all over everything, running around on the floor of my room and if I left the room and my bedroom door open, she'd run down the hallway to find me/get into trouble. This is a potential problem if she keeps it up, as I'd really rather not step on her, and she isn't overly noticeable when she runs around on the floor. My roommate came into my room at one point where the bird was hanging upside down and we laughed hysterically at the bird for a while. I guess there was a reason I named her Spazz.
Also, she knows how to scare the crap out of me. Here's how you do it. Jump out of your cage silently when I'm not looking. Then boogie across the floor, also silently. Run underneath my desk (which, for this to work, I should be sitting at, completely involved in doing something on the computer). Finally, jump on the cords at the back of my computer and run up them fast enough that they move around and make noise, and also fast enough so that when I look under the desk to see what the hell is moving them, you are hidden behind the desk and I can't see you. I'll only be freaked out for a minute, but of course it'll be worth it.
Note: to do this properly, you may have to be a budgie.
Ah yes, and does anyone else feel slightly creeped out about a bird eating chicken wings? I mean, she was helping me eat my potatoes that my roomie lovingly made me, and when she nibbled the pizza crust I thought nothing of it. But chicken wings? Wow. I know that eggs are good for birds apparently, which is also kinda weird, but actual chicken? Cannibal!!!
The whole time she was being a psycho, I was attempting to study for the midterm I just wrote. Which made it particularly difficult to pay attention to my textbook. LOL especially since she looked even more ridiculous because whilst doing all this, she kept her feathers puffed up, so it was like a little poofball zooming around the room.
I took pictures. Which are on my camera at home, not here for me to share with you all. But I suppose I'll survive. You can all already see her cuteness in my display picture.
In other news (as I clearly can't not talk about myself), IT'S FRIDAY!!! This was only a 3 day week and I am wiped. Yay weekend. And yay weekend coming with time to spend with friends!
Ack! I've got to run to class. My last class of the day!

I want a pet bird, but I've got enough problems keeping up with some fish and two cats. Plus I'd want to let said bird fly/run around, and that might be a problem with the fur-babies that inhabit this place
