Nightmare Before Christmas was amazing, and Star Wars was just awesome. You know a good concert where everything is just easy to play. It's almost as if the horn is playing itself, I'm not thinking much, I'm just on autodrive. Sure, I made a few mistakes here and there. Hell, even one big one. I think we all did. But all in all, it was one of the better concerts I have had, and one of the better ones we as a section have had.

Oh, and it was LOUD AS SHIT. Very few times in my life have I been able to let loose like that, reach those outrageous volumes, and still manage to make it sound pretty and full and not broken and shitty. It was a good night.

By the way, if you ever get a chance to listen to or see performed a piece called "The Composer is Dead" by Lemony Snicket and Nathaniel Stookey, do it. It starts out innocently funny, but towards the end it gets dark as hell. Goosebumps type stuff. The best.
