What does it take to touch a soul? Why do our vices blunt our sensitivity? When did humanity become blind to beauty? How do you keep from becoming jaded?

Your second question and your first work together. It does not take much to touch a soul it just depends on how sensitivity you are. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, what might be beautiful to you may not be beautiful to the next person

Before someone can touch a soul another person needs to lay theirs bare and open which many people are reluctant to do. You cannot generalize when it comes to humanity as everyone is different and as varying as ones idea of beauty. Only those who want to become jaded truly do become so, and such barriers are difficult for anyone to overcome.
