Sorry I've been so absent. The last 3 weeks have been total hell and there doesn't seem to be an end in sight, but I'm trying not to let it get to me too bad. Here's how things have gone:
-I had to cancel my trip to Colorado to shoot my set because unexpected bills came up and sucked up about half of the money I had saved.
-My great grandmother died
-My best friend decided she was going to move an hour away
-My son lost my glasses and a very expensive ring (Luckily I found both of them but it took me a week)
-James got suspended from work because some asshole was trying to look good for the boss
-My best friend got completely trashed and I had to take care of her while trying to get rid of a migraine
-James got fired
-I found out about this truly incredible job just to find out that it was a scam
-James may not be able to get unemployment
As I've said, it's been a really terrible 3 weeks. A few good things have happened though.
-I made some bracelets out of leftover pieces of other jewelry (Sorry for the terrible pictures):
-Found out that I'm probably getting my next tattoo and chest piece touched up for free, which is always good to hear.
-Bestie bought me new shoes to make me feel better
These make me wanna tromp through a cotton field

So sexy! They were such a great find.
-My nephew turned one! He's such a cutie!
-Painted my toenails purple. (I forgot to take a picture.)
-Connor potty trained himself!
Helping my bestie move tomorrow, which kind of has me happy, sad, and jealous all at the same time. I love her though so hopefully this will work out well.
I got invited to go out Friday to dinner and salsa dancing
with some friends my bestie made last weekend. Then the girls are all getting together and heading into the country to ride four-wheelers and skinny dip in the lake before fall finally decides to set in, so hopefully this weekend will hold good times and awesome pictures.
Loving the new fall lineup on TV, which is just sad. I'm not a TV watcher, but some of these shows are great. I felt like such a dork for being excited about Raising Hope, but they are so dysfunctional and yet it works. I love it. And I'm so sad about Law and Order:SVU. Christopher Meloni is gone and they are going to phase out Mariska Hargitay later in the season.
I think I need to start running at night again. I'm going to turn into a couch potato.
And I adore the new wishlist button Amazon.com has! All of my Etsy stuff is on there now. And it is a rather extensive list. If only I had the money....*sigh*
Particularly for these pendants that Amy Brown is making. For those of you who don't know, she is one of the most amazing fantasy artists in the U.S. if not the world. I absolutely adore her fairies. Well she's branching out and doing handmade steampunk-esque necklaces. And I love them. There are several on my wishlist. But who wouldn't go gaga over these:
Anywho....I'm kind of just rambling now, so I'm going to bed. Please remember that I love you guys! I'll try to be more attentive!
