What a weekend. Like I said yesterday was the first time seeing a suspension live or otherwise. A much more spiritual and intense thing than I'd have imagined. After hearing it explained the physical and mental and reasons for it have given me a much greater respect.
Also earlier this week a dear friend of mine and many of my close friends passed away. So thursday night we all got together at the bar which we all hung out at and had a night of rememberence for a fallen friend. Tears laughs and fond memories where shared and we all decided that today we needed to have one last hurrah in his honor at his house for him. Got the last of the beef he had slaughtered and plenty of beer and wood for the fire. We all gathered and just had a good time for him. Even spilled a lil beer for him but not too much because he would've told us it was a waste of beer. He wasn't exactly as close a friend to me as he was to many of my friends but he was the kinda guy who would have a glowing smile and always talk and give you lessons about life and keep you in line. He was a good man and someone I could only aspire to be.
Tonight reassured me of one simple fact in life. That your friends and family and the ones you love are to be cherished. Hold close the ones you love who make you smile and you have fun with and don't let the ones who simply fill a void and bring with them noise. Value them and good times. They may not always make the right choices and will have mistakes. But they are always on our minds and in our hearts and when they do mess up, like everyone does, we stay by them and give them our love forgiveness strength and a smile for when they need it most or simply when we know they just need it. So raise a glass to friends because no matter how much you have or how good you think things are with out them life truely has no value and you'll never understand how truely great life can be.
