The snow used to be fun. As I was growing up it seemed that we get at least one decent (around 6") snow every winter. A snow good enough to close school for one or two days, and provide a couple of days of cold soggy fun. Around the mid-nineties it stopped snowing as much. Since '98 I can only think of maybe two big snows. A decade with hardly any snow. It does flurry here from time to time, and occasionally we pick up a light dusting, like we did yesterday, but never the real big snows like in my youth. As I say, it's enough to be annoying, but not enough to be fun. I'd like to think it's just my perspective that's flawed. Things are always bigger when you're a kid, but as each dry winter comes and goes, I think it's less my view, and more a reality.

I know what u mean about the snow. It seems like there was a lot more snow to be enjoyed in my younger years as well. I like to see at least one good snow before winter is over, but then I'm ready for spring!
