Hi.
So my play Take Me Out went real well. It was probably one of the best performances I've given. I even got an interesting little blurb in a local weekly paper. (I played Mason Marzac the business manager by the way.) I had no idea what "adroitly" meant. I had to look it up.
We had a cast party on May 5th. There was lots of tequila. Needless to say May 6th was not a good day.
Now I'm into rehearsals of Romeo and Juliet which I'm directing this summer. I'm really excited about this show. It's going so smoothly, that I fear some horrible disaster is looming. I just hope life doesn't imitate art.
I got to see The Arcade Fire a few weeks ago. They put on a really great, but short show. They are one band that sound as great, if not better, live than recorded.
Finally some more good news, it turns out that my camera was not in fact stolen but just misplaced. It seems I left it at the theater where I was working. I went by the other day to talk about an upcoming lighting design, and to my utter joy there it was in the office; film and all. I was ecstatic.
So I have to go now. As usual it'll probably be a while before I update again, seing how UNCA is out of class, and I still have spotty (stolen) internet at home. I apologize that I never get back to you guys. I swear I'll be more reciprocal in the future. Don't give up on me.
