"But you can't take anything seriously," she sighed before slowly looking up at my blank expression, a tinge of familiar longing crossing her face. "You're soooo apathetic."
She stares for a minute before bursting into uncontrollable laughter.
"Why are you laughing?" I asked to no reply. She continued until tears ran down her face..
"You know," I said, "someone once said that everytime you think something is funny, that's a gravestone for another emotion in you that has just died."
"Is that why you think everything is so funny?" she asked.
"I don't know," I said. "I'm not the one laughing now am I?"
