My Mom calls a few minutes ago. She wants me to come by her house and make sure the door is locked. Her cleaning lady leaves a door unlocked, for no particular reason. Other than all my Mom's associates are crazy.
Mom mentions a drive by shooting had occured on the next street over. I click on the local newspaper in my Favorites as we talk. Of the 8 stories listed for her town, 1 wasn't about crime. The other 7 stories were.
I was like, "you are moving".
That town has gone to shit. I never liked it much. But certainly avoided living there when I moved back from California to live closer to her.

I work for a health care type company. A facility called in to see if a patient has an authorization for a particular test. They give me dudes name. His first name is Tequila. Yes, Tequila. I wonder why a man named tequila has serious health problems in his late 20's.

I also work in a health related field we get a lot of refugees and immigrants. I have seen some odd names one of the best was Shi-thead (said Sha-th-eed).
