So I have interviewed for two new jobs recently. One is near Washington, DC; the other is in Juneau, AK. My boss asked me which one I would take if they were both offered to me. I hadn't really considered that both would be offered. I figured whichever one I was meant for, I'd get offered & the other one I wouldn't. So, I've lived on the East Coast all my life & all my family lives in the Eastern time zone. But I'm really leaning towards the job in Alaska, its right next door to a National Forest & is substantally more money. When I applied for Alaska I never thought they would call me, but I feel the interview went much better than I expected. I don't plan to have an official offer from either until after NYE. Does anyone have any opinions on moving cross country, Alaska, being 3000+ miles away from family, etc? I would love some feedback.
Thanks,
Varjak
