It's funny that some people think a number change will be the difference between what happened in 2020 and what will happen in 2021. My brother and his wife live in the Netherlands. They hit 2021 six hours before me. They said it feels no different. Scientific, empirical truth right there.

With COVID I've canceled 3 trips since March. I'm making plans for travel next summer. I realize making plans is the best way to make reality laugh. Looking through old photos I remind myself why I love travel. Another one from Guatemala.

Fireworks went off behind my place. I have no idea why but they were pretty big. I ran out in my boxer briefs to get a video.

Where I live, I get to see so much wildlife, even on a casual walk in my neighborhood. This guy was 5 feet from me. Sleeping in the sun. I almost got stupid and thought.....I could lean in and touch his tail. I didn't. His name is Phillip.
