I got back from Chicago on Monday and I've been catching up here at work and on my blog. The Pitchfork Music Fest was an awesome time, though a little too hot for my liking I still managed to see most of the bands I wanted to see. The whole experience of the show was great. They took care of the fans, kept prices in reasonable range, and trotted out some of my favorite bands in the world. Right now I'm trying to plan for the next three months of show going because there are about a billion bands coming through New York that I need to see and I'm on a limited budget at the moment.
I'm trying to avoid the ever obressive New York heat by staying indoors and farting around on the interweb. I'm also trying to do as little work as I can because I hate my job. I don't know what it is about this place but as soon as I get here i feel tired and worn down. It really isn't a healthy place to work, at least not for me, and considering the problems everyone has while I'm away I guess its not healthy for them either.
I haven't seen some of my friends in like a week so I'm really excited to hang out with them this weekend. Should be another party filled time. I guess that does it for this update, hope you are all out beating the heat. Later.
